Complete Guide to Understanding Garbage Disposals
Clean Garbage Disposal
Garbage disposals are made to clean themselves when used properly, but the can get pretty smelly if food is allowed to sit in them for any length of time. The best way to keep your garbage disposal odor free is to always operate it with a full stream of cold running water. Continue running the cold water for a few seconds after you turn the disposal off in order to ensure that all the debris inside is washed away.
